Hi all!
As the windy, wet weather sets in, we haven’t been without our successes. Karen and Lu attended the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust Day School in Welshpool on the 5th October 2019 and delivered a presentation on our progress and plans for 2020, with Alan and Annabelle in attendance. This included some early analysis into a report we have received from Paul Blinkhorn on our ceramic finds from CAYA1. We will be looking into this further and once we have performed some more analysis, we will be able to share more with you.
We do have a recording of our presentation, and once this is edited for sound quality we will be able to upload it for you all.
We have been busy on site with finds processing and recording, moving TBMs and trying to answer the Eternal Question of CAYA1.
Alan Brown has graduated from Chester University after attending the amazing graduation ceremony in Chester Cathedral on 5th November 2019! Congratulations once again Alan.
Winter will continue along the same vein and we will be back in the trenches with a force whenever the weather allows!
Thank you as always for keeping up with the project, we will be in touch with updates when we have them.
Until then, have a great spooky season!
