Hello – we have little news to tell since the beginning of the year.
We have not been digging as yet as the weather has been pretty wet! Our numbers are down for the moment however we welcome two new members – Ray who is going to metal- detect for us and Alan who is looking to rebuild our number 2 Roundhouse which is gradually falling to pieces.
Alan Brown is hoping to give a talk on Wat’s Dyke which runs along the edge of Caer Alyn on the 4th of April for the Offa’s Dyke Collaboratory conference. We are all hoping that may not be postponed because of the present corona-virus pandemic.
Haha – we are nearly at the end of writing our Caya 1 trench report! So we will let you know when we have finished it!
